Since the eighties, the Faber-Castell Group reforestation project in Prata, Brazil sustainably manages 8,200 ha of forests with 4.5 million trees, not only providing wood for our production, but also playing an important role in providing habitat to native plant and animal species, protecting watersheds, and capturing CO2 from the atmosphere via photosynthesis.

The industry Consortium CosPaTox stands for Cosmetics, Packaging and Toxicology. The aim is to accomplish the so far missing specific safety standards for high-quality Post-Consumer Plastic Recyclates (PCRs) for cosmetics and other household packaging as well as the implementation of on-site measurement methods for recyclers.

Our wood and wood products with the PEFC logo are proven to derive from ecologically, economically and socially sustainable forestry management. PEFC is the largest institution for ensuring and marketing sustainable forest management through an independent certification system. We invite PEFC auditors to carry out annual audits according to a clear schedule. Auditors inspect our relevant documents, such as valid certificates from suppliers, invoices, and delivery bills to ensure that we and our suppliers meet the PEFC standards.

It acts as a testing service provider from development to market approval, both nationally and internationally. With our ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications, we have met the highest standards for the development, production, packaging and distribution of virtually every product and its individual parts, components formulas and ingredients.
